Some of our posts contain affiliate links. If you click on such an affiliate product link and end up making a purchase, we may receive a commission from the seller. This may influence which products we write about and where they appear on a page. However, all opinions are our own and commission or not, do not influence our evaluations.
Note that not all the links used on this site are affiliate or commission links. We link to some products discussed in our writing, that we are not paid for in any way. We offer this type of link to supply more information to our readers. Either of these link types have nothing to do with the amount you pay for the product.
We don’t like popup ads or blog pages so covered in ads, that it is impossible to read the page.
We believe that this makes reading the information in the blog more trouble than it is worth. That is why we decided not to use traditional advertising at all. Therefore, we chose to use Affiliate Links.
Affiliate links are added to a page with a description of what the product is and why you should consider using it. Sometimes, the descriptions will include pros and cons. Then the reader can make an informed decision to click the link and gather more information to purchase the product or not.
Using Affiliate links doesn’t include hiding any links the reader clicks without knowing they are there. It doesn’t include a new popup each time the reader scrolls up or down. It doesn’t include adding in blocks of information that had nothing to do with the topic of the blog.
Most of the affiliate links we include are for products we use or products with comparisons and reviews that provide more details about the products. Often other users comment on the products and share their own experiences. Some of the products we explain the purpose and use for, that may not be available elsewhere.
